Job summary

BTech Inc. in Morris County, Rockaway, NJ is seeking a Technical Product Support Specialist to provide technical support and training for hardware and software products. This role focuses on external customers and requires strong electronics knowledge, troubleshooting ability, and clear communication.

The position is full-time on site in Rockaway, NJ. Responsibilities include assisting customers by phone, email, and video meetings; diagnosing issues; delivering remote and on-site training; and

Qualifications

• Electronics technology degree or equivalent experience.
• Solid understanding of engineering principles.
• Hands-on experience using basic electronic test equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of computer literacy including MS Office and basic databases/networking knowledge.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and professional product support to customers via phone, email, ticketing system, and video conferencing (Teams/Zoom).
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to BTECH’s hardware and software offerings.
• Deliver remote and on-site product training and field service support.
• Remotely install and configure BTECH software in customer environments.
• Serve as liaison between customers and internal teams such as Service, Monitoring, and Engineering.
• Contribute to ongoing support documentation (manuals, bulletins, work instructions).
• Assist the Engineering team in testing and evaluating prototype hardware and software.
