Job summary

Bit By Bit in New Jersey is seeking a Level 2 Field Technician to join our fast-paced MSP team. This on-call, on-site role covers client sites across Northern New Jersey and involves installations, troubleshooting, and ongoing technical support in collaboration with our senior engineers. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of IT support experience, strong customer service, and MSP familiarity.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of IT support experience, including field service or MSP environments.
• Previous experience working for a Managed Services Provider (MSP).
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a technical team.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, trade school education, or equivalent professional experience.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Technical certifications such as Microsoft, Apple, CompTIA, Cisco, VMware, or similar are considered an asset.
