Job summary

KLA is seeking a Technical Product Support Engineer in Phoenix to deliver advanced troubleshooting for semiconductor capital equipment. You will be the second escalation level, working with field engineers, product specialists, and engineering teams to diagnose and resolve complex issues.

The role involves 40-70% travel domestically and internationally, extensive hands-on problem solving, and collaboration across multiple technical teams to restore equipment performance and ensure customer

Qualifications

Hands-on troubleshooting experience with equipment.
Experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment or similar capital equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot integrated optical, electrical, mechanical, electro‑mechanical, computer‑control, and software components.
Structured fault isolation and root‑cause problem solving.
Ability to collaborate across field service, product support, engineering, and specialists.
Strong written communication of technical findings and learnings.

Responsibilities

Serve as the second-level technical escalation resource for ongoing issues.
Assist field engineers with diagnosing, troubleshooting, and debugging complex equipment.
Isolate root cause and determine corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Document troubleshooting processes, results, and lessons learned.
Support equipment installation, relocation, modification, or upgrade activities.
Provide technical training and knowledge transfer to field engineers.
