Job summary

KLA in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a field service professional to diagnose, repair, and support advanced semiconductor equipment at customer sites and through remote guidance. You will help ensure high uptime and production efficiency across customer plants.

You will collaborate with installation engineers, document service activities, contribute to knowledge sharing, and participate in RMA processes. Travel up to 20% during training and ongoing field assignments is expected.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or 2 years related work experience.
• Bachelor's degree or 3 years related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, analyzes, diagnoses and troubleshoots technical equipment problems via telephone or at customer site.
• Repairs of system level problems at customer sites.
• Represents the company to the customer and ensures customer happiness with service.
• Coordinates actions with customers to minimize downtime.
• Prepares field service reports on customer support activity.
• Develops and handles return materials authorization (RMA) processes.
• Executes technical critical issues with detailed problem statements and collaboration with system engineering.
• Estimated travel is 20% once trained; duties may occur at customer sites or offices.
