Job summary

KLA seeks a senior technologist in Chandler, AZ, to support procedure validation, ICR lifecycle ownership, and escalation handling for semiconductor metrology tools. The role requires hands-on experience with E‑Beam subsystems and strong data analysis, with travel up to 30% to support global teams.

You will work across global hubs, document issues and fixes, and contribute to knowledge transfer and customer engagements while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related experience with a Bachelors degree; or 3 years experience with a Masters or equivalent.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally at least 30%.
• Hands-on experience in semiconductor wafer inspection systems is a plus.
• Excellent data analytical and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate technical procedures on in-house tools prior to production deployment.
• Manage the end‑to‑end lifecycle of ICRs, from submission through resolution.
• Lead technical escalations and execute structured Plans of Action (POAs).
• Participate in Follow‑the‑Sun (FTS) support programs, including 5x24 or 7x24 coverage models.
• Maintain organized documentation of tool issues, fixes, and best practices.
• Interface with field teams and customers to intake support cases with detailed logs and metrics.
• Develop deep technical knowledge of E‑Beam subsystems (e.g., TMAC, ASC, CSSI, RAID).
