Job summary

Slalom is seeking a Technical Product Owner for the Centennial, CO area. This project-based role requires on-site presence, close collaboration with engineers, data specialists, and client leadership to translate business intent into actionable product direction and AI-enabled delivery.

The role emphasizes governance, strong backlog management, clear specifications, and alignment of strategy, scope, and value from concept through launch. Remote work is not available.

Qualifications

• Years of product development experience in Agile environments.
• Ability to translate business intent into product direction and requirements.
• Experience applying AI tooling in delivery and discovery.
• Strong communication and leadership skills for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Define governance cadence and delivery reporting for stakehold ers to surface data for decisions.
• Define product, pressure-test assumptions, and write clear specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Own the product lifecycle from concept through launch and iterations.
• Maintain the project context hub and use AI tooling to keep it current.
• Lead delivery teams, manage issues and risks, and provide status updates.
• Collaborate with engineering leaders, validate technical approaches, and document the toolchain.
• Apply AI workflows to support requirements, documentation, analysis, and backlog management.
• Test ideas via lightweight prototypes and iterate on product direction.
