Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Technical Product Manager (Integrated Solutions) to drive requirements, market adoption, and revenue for integrated product portfolios. You will own end-to-end specs, system-level trade-offs, and turnkey configurations bridging R&D and GTM teams.

Based in Irvine, CA, with hybrid scheduling and potential 100% remote work for suitable US candidates; travel up to 25–50% to support field testing, customer integrations, and meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, RF Engineering, or a highly related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of technical product management or systems engineering experience within the defense, aerospace, or wireless communications industries.
• Strong working knowledge of wireless communications, RF systems, signal processing, software-defined radios (SDRs), mesh networking, or electromagnetic spectrum operations.
• Demonstrated ability to translate high-level military or tactical use cases into logical and structured technical requirements.
• Proven track record of influencing cross-functional engineering, operations, and sales teams without direct authority to meet rigid release dates.
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.
• All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Translate high-level mission capabilities into granular software user stories and hardware/sensor configurations.
• Defining end-to-end performance specifications and system-level trade-offs for Integrated Solutions such as PRISM, AIRS and NEXUS, ensuring turnkey integrated packages are optimized for their environments.
• Collaborating with hardware and software engineering teams to leverage existing radios and modules into turnkey systems.
• Managing sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release cadences for specialized integrated solutions features, platform firmware builds, and turnkey system updates.
• Assessing customer feature requests, evaluating engineering timelines, and balancing scope with field expectations.
• Overseeing technical lifecycle and release schedules of PRISM, NEXUS, AIRS, and future integrated solutions from concept to deployment.
• Supporting Sales to drive adoption and revenue, incorporating customer feedback for product updates.
• Travel up to 25% of the time for field testing and customer meetings.
