Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks a Technical Product Manager (Integrated Solutions) to drive requirements, market adoption, and revenue for the Integrated Solutions portfolio. You will own system-level specifications, performance KPIs, and turnkey integrations including PRISM, NEXUS, and AIRS.

Located in Irvine, CA with a hybrid schedule; remote work is possible for US-based candidates, with up to 25–50% travel for field testing and customer engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, RF Engineering, or a highly related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of technical product management or systems engineering experience within the defense, aerospace, or wireless communications industries.
• Strong working knowledge of wireless communications, RF systems, signal processing, software-defined radios (SDRs), mesh networking, or electromagnetic spectrum operations.
• Demonstrated ability to translate high-level military or tactical use cases into logical and structured technical requirements.
• Proven track record of influencing cross-functional engineering, operations, and sales teams without direct authority to meet rigid release dates.
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.
• All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Requirements Engineering: Translating mission capabilities into granular, software user stories and hardware/sensor configurations.
• Turnkey Solutions Integration (PRISM & NEXUS): Defining end-to-end performance specifications and system-level trade-offs for Integrated Solutions.
• Engineering Liaison: Collaborating with hardware and software teams to leverage radios into turnkey systems.
• Sprint & Backlog Ownership: Managing sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release cadences for integrated solutions features.
• Scope & Trade-off Analysis: Analyzing customer feature requests, timelines, and defining scope boundaries.
• Integrated Portfolio Lifecycle Management: Overseeing lifecycle and release schedules for PRISM, NEXUS, AIRS, and future solutions.
• Post-launch Performance: Driving product adoption and revenue growth, capturing feedback for updates.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Bridging R&D, engineering, operations, and GTM teams; translate feedback into priorities.
• Travel: Up to 25% travel for field testing and customer engagements.
