Job summary

Workiz Inc. in San Diego seeks an Onboarding Specialist to own the customer’s first months, configuring accounts, migrating data, and connecting integrations.

You’ll drive go-lives with a strong focus on data accuracy and scalable setups. You will collaborate with Sales, Support, Customer Success, and Technical Account Managers to ensure smooth handoffs and lasting adoption in a fast-paced, hybrid startup environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a customer-facing technical role (onboarding/implementation/solutions or related).
• Experience leading technical implementations, data migrations, or integrations.
• Proven ability to debug software issues, read logs, and test APIs.
• Comfort with REST APIs, webhooks, integrations, and SQL or similar querying.
• Experience providing training or product demonstrations to clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to document clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical onboarding for new accounts in virtual sessions, configuring end-to-end including integrations and data flows.
• Plan and run data migrations from legacy systems, validating data before go-live.
• Set up and troubleshoot integrations, webhooks, and API connections end-to-end.
• Design in-product solutions for complex workflows, including multi-location setups.
• Audit configurations before go-live and HyperCare exit, fixing misconfigurations.
