Blue Origin is seeking a Technical Manager for the Large Mechanisms team in Florida. You will lead mechanical engineers in designing, developing, and delivering ground mechanical systems and GSE for launch operations at LC-36, balancing hands-on technical leadership with people management.

You will maintain technical engagement, provide engineering judgment on design decisions, and act as a credible technical voice with stakeholders across the program.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 10+ years in mechanical engineering with large-scale systems.
• 4+ years in engineering management.
• Experience leading mechanical design programs from concept to operations.
• GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis experience.
• Experience with bolted connections and load-bearing joints.
• Experience with heavy-duty mechanism types.
• Experience with dynamic loading (vibration, shock, fatigue).
• Experience managing external design partners through lifecycles.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD and PLM (Creo/Windchill).
• Proficiency in FEA software (ANSYS).
• Knowledge of change/configuration management.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as technical authority for the large mechanisms team and set technical direction.
• Directly manage Mechanical Engineers, recruit and develop talent.
• Own deliverables, manage scope, schedule, budget and risks; oversee external partners.
