Blue Origin LLC seeks a Senior Mechanical/Project Engineer – Integration to design and integrate ground mechanical systems and GSE for Blue Origin’s launch site at LC-36 in Cape Canaveral, FL. The role involves leading cross‑functional teams through testing, activation, and handoff to operations.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in large mechanical systems, CAD experience, and strong systems integration skills, with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. Domestic U.S. status or eligibility is required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• 10+ years experience with design/analysis/construction of large mechanical systems.
• Experience in design and systems integration/activation.
• Experience leading mechanical designs from concept through commissioning.

Aufgaben

• Design and develop large-scale ground systems, mechanisms, and GSE.
• Perform and review FEA and hand-calcs for complex mechanical systems.
• Lead integration, testing, and activation with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and drive integrated fabrication/installation/test schedules.
• Oversee external fabrication contractors and ensure quality and schedule adherence.
• Lead handoff of commissioned systems to operations and ensure documentation.
