Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Lead Engineer in Generator Product Service to act as the technical anchor for customers and global teams, owning end-to-end fault investigations and corrective actions.

You will be the technical authority for generator and electrical designs, mentor engineers, and support outages, proposals, and strategic programs, with travel 10–15% and a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of generator engineering experience.
• Willingness to travel 10–15% domestically and internationally.
• Six Sigma or Lean training and/or certification.
• Experience in a customer-facing or commercial support role.
• Demonstrated project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical investigations from fault identification through CAPA.
• Serve as the technical authority for generator and electrical system designs.
• Be the face of GE Vernova’s technical expertise at customer sites and industry events.
• Author and publish Technical Information Letters, PSSBs, PSIBs, and safety alerts.
• Support strategic programs including service fulfillment and NPI initiatives.
• Mentor and develop a team of product service engineers.
