Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Lead Generator Diagnostics and Robotics Specialist to provide technical leadership in electro-mechanical testing, robotic inspections, and generator diagnostics across fossil and nuclear plants worldwide.

You will install, calibrate, and maintain advanced instrumentation, drive data-driven diagnostics, mentor staff, and coordinate field projects with safety and quality in mind. This role requires up to 70% travel and expertise in SLMS, RVM testing, and robotic platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with relevant field experience.
• Experience in generator diagnostics and RTD/SLMS tools.
• Ability to lead field operations and field safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical execution of EMT and robotic inspections; oversee SLMS commissioning and maintenance.
• Coordinate with regional managers to align workscopes with customer requirements.
• Provide engineering support and training to teams; develop procedures for EMT and robotic testing.
• Manage costing, proposals, and field data logs; ensure safety and quality standards.
