Job summary

GE Vernova is looking for a senior leader to oversee a portfolio of Americas Project Engineering projects with a team of generator engineers. You will own regional project controls, drive consistent specifications, and implement global processes to meet delivery, quality and timeliness objectives.

The role emphasizes high autonomy, rapid execution, and strong technical and stakeholder leadership. Relocation assistance and a discretionary annual bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree from an accredited university with at least 6 years of experience in design or project engineering.
• Significant experience in Electrical Systems or Generator Engineering/Technology and/or Customer Project Engineering.
• Knowledge level comparable to a Master’s degree from an accredited university.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full time basis; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop a scope of work, plan schedule, and monitor engineering activities for customer projects across a team of generator engineers.
• Provide technical leadership and interface with multiple stakeholders (Proposal Management, Cost Estimating, Partners, Customers, GE Product Engineering, Sourcing, subcontractors).
• Lead a small to medium team of senior professionals and influence policy formulation.
• Interpret business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes or services.
• Lead programs/projects with minimal resources and communicate complex concepts effectively.
