Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Engineer in Generator Product Service to own complex generator/electrical system issues from identification to permanent resolution. You will travel 10–15% domestically and internationally, engage with customers on outages, and guide cross-functional teams to implement robust corrective actions.

You will publish technical communications (TILs, PSSBs, PSIBs) and influence proposals with technical input.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of generator engineering experience.
• Willingness to travel 10-15% domestically and internationally, on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical investigations from fault identification through CAPA and prevention.
• Serve as the technical authority for generator and electrical system designs.
• Attend customer sites and support outages, presenting at industry events.
• Publish Technical Information Letters, Product Service Safety Bulletins, and safety alerts.
• Support service fulfillment and New Product Introduction initiatives.
• Mentor and develop a team of generator and electrical systems engineers.
