Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. seeks a Lead Engineer in Generator Product Service to own complex generator and electrical system issues end-to-end, drive CAPA actions, and represent technical excellence to customers.

You’ll lead investigations, act as the technical authority, support outages, publish technical docs, mentor a team, and collaborate with global stakeholders across manufacturing, sourcing, quality and design engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in generator engineering and technology.
• Willingness to travel 10-15% domestically and internationally, including short notice, and to support off-hours or weekend emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical investigations from fault identification through CAPA.
• Serve as the technical authority for generator and electrical system designs coordinating with multiple teams.
• Be the face of GE Vernova’s technical expertise at customer sites, outages, and industry events.
• Author and publish Technical Information Letters, Safety Bulletins, and related communications.
• Support strategic programs including service fulfillment and New Product Introduction (NPI).
• Mentor and develop a team of engineers in generator and electrical systems.
