Job summary

Motorola Solutions, through its Exacom unit, seeks a Technical Field Services Manager to lead field engineers in installing, deploying, and maintaining Exacom Hindsight 4. You will drive on-site deployments for public safety and government clients, ensuring strict SLAs and high service quality.

You will collaborate with project managers and client IT/dispatch directors, manage a 24/7 operations mindset, and mentor a dual-function team through complex deployments and field support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive technical management leading technical support or field deployment teams.
• Preferred background in public safety, mission-critical environments, telecommunications, or NG911.
• Proven track record managing multi-disciplinary technical teams (remote and on-site).
• Deep understanding of VoIP, SIP, RoIP and audio recording/logging technologies.
• Experience with Windows Server, networking (routers, switches, firewalls, VLANs) and SQL.
• Familiarity with CTI and dispatch console architectures.
• Direct experience with Exacom Hindsight 4 or similar multi-channel logging systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead post-sales technical services teams and drive on-site installations.
• Direct planning, scheduling, and execution of hardware/software deployments.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs, SAT, and security/compliance standards.
• Coordinate with project managers and client IT/dispatch to align timelines.
• Manage project backlog to close projects and generate revenue timely.
• Refine workflows, checklists, and knowledge base; support customer relations.
