Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a Technical Field Services Manager to lead post-sales Field Engineers in the installation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of Exacom Hindsight 4. You will ensure SLAs, coordinate with project managers and client IT/dispatch directors, and drive revenue through timely project closure.

The role emphasizes leadership under pressure, clear communication with municipal clients, and adherence to security and SAT protocols in mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive technical management experience leading technical support and/or field deployment teams.
• Experience in public safety, mission-critical environments, telecommunications, or NG911 systems preferred.
• Proven track record managing multi-disciplinary technical teams (remote and on-site).

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & People Management: Direct, mentor, and evaluate a dual-function team of Field Engineers; regular performance reviews and coaching.
• Field Engineering & Deployment Oversight: plan, schedule, and execute on-site installations, upgrades, and cutovers; align with project managers and client IT/dispatch directors.
• Process Improvement & Customer Relations: refine workflows, build knowledge base, and manage escalations with stakeholders across PSAPs and law enforcement.
