Job summary

Motorola Solutions’ Exacom unit seeks a Technical Field Services Manager to lead Field Engineers responsible for installation, deployment, and maintenance of Exacom Hindsight 4. You will drive on-site deployments, SLAs, and post-sales service for critical public safety systems.

You’ll oversee project delivery, collaborate with project managers and client IT/dispatch directors, and ensure standardized installation protocols and SATs. Travel and 24/7 support are part of the role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive technical management experience leading technical support and/or field deployment teams.
• Prior experience in public safety, mission-critical environments, telecommunications, or NG911 systems is strongly preferred.
• Proven track record managing multi-disciplinary technical teams (remote and on-site).

Responsibilities

• Direct and mentor a dual-function team of Field Engineers.
• Plan scheduling and execution of on-site hardware/software installs and upgrades.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs, SATs and security standards in deployments.
• Manage backlog to close projects and generate revenue on schedule.
• Build relationships with PSAPs and emergency services clients.
