Job summary

Indeed seeks a Software Engineer VI to act as a Technical Fellow for the Interop space, guiding architectural strategy and ensuring scalable B2B integrations with external ATS/HRIS partners. You will shape design across domains and partner with executive stakeholders.

As a technical leader, you will mentor a team of 40-50+ engineers, drive architectural change, and help improve reliability and parity with Big-4 partners while aligning with business growth objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and evolving service-oriented architectures and distributed systems.
• Experience with APIs and data platforms (SQL/NoSQL).
• Applying AI/ML approaches to accelerate engineering velocity and quality.
• Demonstrated ownership as a principal technical and product contributor.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, influencing cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own architectural assessment and simplification across multiple teams.
• Guide architectural decisions with senior engineers and business partners.
• Document architectural decisions and trade-offs clearly.
• Translate needs into improvements for shared platforms and tools.
• Contribute code and design improvements, maintaining high quality.
• Set architectural standards and best practices across engineering.
