Position: Technical District Sales Manager

This role aligns with regional goals set by management and involves working with customers and distribution partners to meet company objectives. The TDSM monitors sales activities to ensure revenue, design, and market share targets are achieved monthly. The role includes developing existing, emerging, and new customers by providing comprehensive Vishay solutions tailored to their technical requirements.

Job Location:

This position is based in Northern California / Bay Area. It is remote, requiring in-person meetings with customers and at the local office. Travel is estimated at 0-10%.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships to meet revenue, design, and market share goals, with a focus on supporting engineering teams.
  • Coordinate with distribution partners to drive customer activity, technical training, inventory positioning, and monitor customer requirements.
  • Provide market intelligence to Vishay sales and marketing teams regarding technical trends and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with key contacts across different sites as needed.
  • Prepare and submit timely reports including monthly narratives and sales reconciliation.
  • Support budgets and capital expenditures as directed by management.
  • Align with Marketing, Business Development, Strategic Sales, Finance, Logistics, Quality, and Legal teams.
  • Continuously update product and Vishay process knowledge to meet company goals, emphasizing technical benefits of focus products.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of sales experience, preferably with electronics components.
  • Established relationships with EMS and distribution partners.
  • Strong presentation skills for training and customer meetings.
