Position Overview

Responsibilities include:

  1. Develop new and deepen existing vendor and/or end-user customer relationships. Call expectations of 100 per day for the first year.
  2. Drive originations and/or gross margin to meet objectives.
  3. Analyze customer financial information including income, assets, investments, and debts.
  4. Provide financing solutions tailored to customer needs based on their financial profile.
  5. Assist small and mid-size businesses in securing funding by analyzing different financial products.
  6. Conduct financing sales training through meetings, calls, tradeshows, and one-on-one sessions.
  7. Build strong relationships with management and contacts at vendor and customer sites.
  8. Enhance existing financing programs with current vendors and customers.
  9. Attend trade shows nationwide as required.
  10. Ensure proper administration and communication of new programs.
  11. Collaborate with management and support teams to achieve objectives.
  12. Practice ethical sales behaviors aligned with Ameris' core values of integrity and honesty.
  13. Engage in self-learning to stay updated.
Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:

  • Experience in equipment financing sales required.
  • Transferable book of business valued at $3M or more preferred.
  • Knowledge of CRM software; Salesforce experience preferred.

Industry and Experience:

  • At least 3 years of sales experience in equipment leasing and financing industries.

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or related field preferred.
Compensation

Salary range: $30k-$150k per year. Average commissions: $10k-$150k+ per year.
