Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a Technical Director to lead the UPS Global CoE Health & Safety Standards development and implementation. This role offers remote work with travel to various UPS customer locations and requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and risk-management skills to advance safety programs across the enterprise.

You will drive governance, mentor teams, partner across stakeholders, and translate industry best practices into site-level actions while maintaining

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with coursework in math, engineering or related areas and at least 10 years of related consulting experience in loss prevention or safety.
Advanced knowledge in risk assessment, risk analysis, solutions management and progress measurement.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop relationships with customers and peers.

Responsibilities

Direct development, implementation, and direction of UPS H&S Standards, governance, and strategy initiatives.
Translate emerging risks and industry best practices for field application to advance business objectives.
Develop talent strategy and mentorship in partnership with H&S leadership.
Lead project/change management for standards development and strategy initiatives.
Demonstrate expertise in strategy planning, regulatory compliance, and technology solutions management.
Collaborate across stakeholders, influence outcomes, and coach teams to achieve goals.
