Job summary
Liberty Mutual Fire Insurance Co. is seeking a Technical Consultant to join the UPS Dedicated Team. This fully remote role requires travel to client sites and may be located near major hub airports.
The successful candidate will lead development and execution of health and safety standards, driving strategy, governance, and performance across UPS programs. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in related consulting with strong leadership, relationship-building and communication skills, plus expertise
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in math/engineering with 10+ years in loss prevention or safety consulting.
- Advanced degree or professional certification pursued (CSP, ARM, CPCU, CIH, CPE or NEBOSH).
- Experience with ISO management systems.
Responsibilities
- Direct development and direction of UPS H&S Standards, including strategy, governance and initiative delivery.
- Translate emerging risks and best practices for field application to advance UPS safety objectives.
- Develop talent strategy and knowledge transfer in partnership with H&S leadership.
- Lead projects from inception through implementation ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
- Demonstrate advanced planning, risk analysis, regulatory compliance and progress measurement.
