Job summary

Ramp is seeking a Technical Consultant to partner with commercial customers, aligning Ramp’s financial solutions with ERP and HRIS workflows. You’ll bridge customer needs and internal teams, designing scalable integration patterns and helping drive faster value realization.

As a trusted advisor, you’ll define success criteria, communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and influence product direction while ensuring successful deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 2+ years in technical consulting, solutions engineering, or similar role.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and finance/accounting workflows.
• Comfort with APIs and integration concepts; able to explain to stakeholders.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Bias toward action, ownership, and ability to operate in ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical advisor to customers and Ramp’s teams for high-value implementations.
• Assess requirements and propose scalable ERP/API integration solutions.
• Collaborate with onboarding and implementation leads to accelerate value.
• Guide customers through technical decisions without coding themselves.
• Influence product roadmap with customer feedback and pain points.
