Job summary

Ramp is seeking a Technical Consultant to partner with customers and Ramp teams, designing financial solutions via Ramp and partner integrations. You’ll become the technical and financial SME, defining success criteria from onboarding to expansion and guiding complex integration decisions across HRIS and accounting touchpoints.

You will work with sales, product, and engineering to evolve Ramp’s capabilities, contribute to scalable implementations, and drive faster time-to-value for commercial

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, finance, business, or a related field.
• 2+ years in technical consulting, solutions engineering, implementation, or a similar customer-facing technical role, ideally in a SaaS or fintech environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and finance/accounting workflows.
• Comfort working with APIs, integration logic, and system architecture and ability to explain concepts to stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate tech to business value.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical advisor to customers and Ramp’s internal teams during high-value implementations and expansions.
• Partner with Customer Activation and Account Management to assess requirements and propose scalable ERP/API integration solutions.
• Collaborate with onboarding and implementation leads to support technical workstreams and accelerate value for customers.
• Troubleshoot integration blockers and guide customers through configuration decisions without writing code.
• Contribute to internal docs and tooling to scale Ramp’s integration use cases.
• Influence product roadmap by channeling customer pain points to Product and Engineering teams.
