Job summary

Appian Corporation seeks a Consultant for its Customer Success team to engage with clients post‑sales, design and implement Appian solutions, and drive AI-enabled transformations. You’ll collaborate across teams and guide clients through the full software lifecycle, ensuring adoption and value delivery.

Role requires active TS/SCI clearance, strong communication, and 1+ year in software development or consulting.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience engaging with clients to define business needs and deliver software
Experience working in an agile environment with cross-functional teams
Strong communication skills and problem-solving mindset
Background in object-oriented programming, relational databases, and SQL
Experience integrating systems via APIs (REST/SOAP) and JDBC connections
Familiarity with AWS, AI/ML, analytics, cloud platforms
Active government clearance TS/SCI required
Willingness to travel up to 20%
B.S./B.A. in Engineering, CS, IS, Math or related field

Responsibilities

Engage with customers post‑sales to design and implement Appian solutions
Develop AI-enabled applications and integrate with client systems
Work within an Agile team to understand client processes and deliver tooling
Collaborate with client technical teams and business users through full software lifecycle
