Job summary

Appian is seeking a Technical Consultant to join its Customer Success team. You will work with clients post-sales to design and build software and AI solutions on the Appian platform, driving digital transformation across projects.

You’ll operate in an agile environment, define business processes, and implement APIs while collaborating with diverse client and internal teams. This role is based in our McLean, VA HQ, with in-office requirements 4–5 days weekly and travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Define business processes and gather functional and technical requirements.
• Excellent communication, passion for technology and continuous learning.
• Experience with agile methodologies and cross-functional teams.
• Basic understanding of object-oriented programming, SQL, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with REST/SOAP integrations, AWS/Cloud AI tools and enterprise APIs.
• US Citizenship for Public Sector roles.
• 1+ years of hands-on software development or technical consulting.
• B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or related field.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% annually.
