Job summary

Chelsea Search Group is seeking a Technical Business Development Manager – Semiconductor (ASIC/FPGA) in Phoenix, AZ. This role bridges engineering and business development to drive growth in custom and standard semiconductor products for Mil-Aero, Industrial, and Medical markets.

You will translate complex engineering concepts into compelling technical and business opportunities, collaborating with engineering, product development, and leadership teams to evaluate customer requirements and

Qualifications

BSEE/MSEE or equivalent.
3+ years in Design Automation, FPGA, or ASIC Design.
5+ years in the Semiconductor industry; advanced degrees will be considered with fewer years.
Excellent organizational skills and strong English communication.
Experience with Mil-Aero and/or Industrial customers is a plus.
Knowledge of analog, digital, and mixed-signal fundamentals.

Responsibilities

Close business by providing technical sales support during various stages of the sales cycle.
Contribute to development of the overall ASIC architecture and cost proposals.
Develop long-term relationships with clients by interpreting requirements.
Make technical presentations and demonstrate product fit to client needs.
Travel up to 30% and support marketing activities at trade shows and conferences.
Collaborate with IC Design, Test, and Product teams during development.
