Job summary

Chelsea Search Group in Cedar Rapids, IA seeks a Technical Business Development Manager for Semiconductor solutions. You will bridge engineering and business development, working with Mil-Aero, Industrial, and Medical markets to translate technical challenges into opportunities in FPGA, ASIC, and packaging.

You will develop proposals, present solutions, and support marketing events, collaborating with design, product, and leadership teams to estimate resources and costs for new opportunities.

Qualifications

• BSEE/MSEE or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in Design Automation, FPGA, or ASIC Design.
• 5+ years in the Semiconductor industry; advanced degrees reduce years.
• Excellent organizational and English communication skills.
• Experience with Mil-Aero or Industrial customers a plus.
• Experience with systems including SPI, CAN, drivers, ADCs, power management.
• Strong technical documentation and requirements gathering ability.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Close business by providing technical sales support across sales stages.
• Contribute to development of ASIC architecture.
• Manage client requirements and build long-term relationships.
• Develop technical and cost proposals.
• Deliver technical presentations showing product fit.
• Meet sales targets and coordinate projects.
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance and education.
• Travel up to 30% to engage with customers.
