Job summary

Chelsea Search Group seeks an experienced Technical Business Development Manager for semiconductor solutions (ASIC/FPGA) in Austin, TX. You will bridge engineering expertise with business development, understanding Mil-Aero, Industrial, and Medical markets to create compelling technical and business opportunities.

You will engage with customers, define approaches, develop resource/cost estimates, and influence design methodologies while traveling up to 30% to meet client needs and drive growth.

Qualifications

• BSEE or MSEE or equivalent required.
• 3+ years in Design Automation, FPGA, or ASIC Design.
• 5+ years in the Semiconductor industry.
• Strong organizational, oral and written English communication skills.
• Experience with Mil-Aero and/or Industrial customers is a plus.
• Travel up to 30% and ability to translate technical requirements into proposals.

Responsibilities

• Close business by providing technical sales support during various stages of the sales cycle.
• Contribute to the development of the overall ASIC architecture.
• Develop long-term relationships with clients by managing and interpreting their requirements.
• Develop technical and cost proposals for opportunities.
• Make technical presentations showing how products meet client needs.
• Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects.
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
• Travel up to 30% and collaborate with sales and engineering teams.
