Job summary

Chelsea Search Group is seeking a Technical Business Development Manager for semiconductor solutions, bridging engineering with business development to tackle customer challenges and opportunities.

You will collaborate with engineering, product development, and leadership teams to translate customer requirements into technical and business opportunities, shaping architectures and proposals for Mil-Aero, Industrial, and Medical markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; advanced degrees welcomed.
• 3+ years in Design Automation, FPGA, or ASIC design.
• 5+ years in the semiconductor industry; advanced degrees considered with fewer years.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; strong interpersonal abilities.
• Mil-Aero or industrial customer experience is a plus.
• Experience with systems including regulators, drivers, ADCs, SPI, CAN, microprocessors; EMI/thermal considerations.

Responsibilities

• Close business by providing technical sales support through various stages of the sales cycle.
• Develop long-term relationships with clients by interpreting their requirements.
• Develop technical and cost proposals.
• Make technical presentations and demonstrate product fit to client needs.
• Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects.
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
• Travel up to 30% and work with customers on high-level requirements.
• Collaborate with sales and other technical experts.
