Job summary

Chelsea Search Group is seeking a Technical Business Development Manager – Semiconductor (ASIC/FPGA) to drive growth in custom and standard product lines. You will bridge engineering concepts with business development across Mil-Aero, Industrial, and Medical markets, shaping architecture, proposals, and cost plans.

You will nurture client relationships, develop technical approaches, and collaborate with engineering teams to translate customer needs into compelling opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Design Automation, FPGA, or ASIC Design.
• 5+ years in the Semiconductor industry; advanced degrees considered with fewer years.
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Mil-Aero and Industrial customers a plus.
• Ability to document technical requirements clearly and manage proposals.

Responsibilities

• Close business by providing technical sales support through the sales cycle.
• Develop long-term client relationships by interpreting requirements.
• Create technical and cost proposals for opportunities.
• Deliver technical presentations showing product meets client needs.
• Meet sales targets and coordinate multiple sales projects.
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
• Travel up to 30% and work with cross-functional teams.
