Job summary

Chelsea Search Group is hiring a Technical Business Development Manager for ASIC/FPGA solutions to drive custom and standard product growth. You will bridge engineering, product development, and leadership to translate complex customer needs into compelling technical and business opportunities, engaging with Mil-Aero, Industrial, and Medical markets.

You will collaborate across teams to evaluate requirements, define technical approaches, and develop resource/cost estimates for opportunities.

Qualifications

BSEE/MSEE or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in Design Automation, FPGA, or ASIC Design.
5+ years of experience in the Semiconductor industry.
Excellent organizational skills and strong English communications.
Experience with Mil‑Aero or Industrial customers is a plus.
Strong technical documentation and ability to document requirements.

Responsibilities

Close business by providing technical sales support during various stages of the sales cycle.
Contribute to overall ASIC architecture development.
Develop long-term client relationships and interpret requirements.
Develop technical and cost proposals.
Make technical presentations showing how products meet client needs.
Meet sales targets and coordinate projects.
Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
Travel up to 30% and collaborate with sales and technical teams.
