Job summary

Chelsea Search Group is seeking an experienced Technical Business Development Manager for ASIC and semiconductor in Minneapolis, MN. You will bridge engineering expertise with business development to bring innovative semiconductor solutions to market, working with Mil-Aero, Industrial, and Medical customers.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, and leadership teams to evaluate customer requirements, define technical approaches, and develop resource and cost proposals.

Qualifications

• BSEE/MSEE or equivalent required.
• 3+ years in Design Automation, FPGA, or ASIC Design.
• 5+ years in the Semiconductor industry; advanced degrees considered with fewer years.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Mil-Aero or Industrial customers is a plus.
• Strong technical documentation and pre-sales presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Close business by providing technical sales support during various stages of the sales cycle.
• Contribute to the development of the overall ASIC architecture.
• Develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements.
• Develop technical and cost proposals.
• Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs.
• Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects.
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
• Travel up to 30% and support marketing activities at trade shows and conferences.
