Job summary

Chelsea Search Group seeks a Technical Business Development Manager to bridge engineering and sales in the ASIC and semiconductor space. You will work with Mil-Aero, Industrial, and Medical customers to translate technical challenges into compelling solutions involving Design Automation, FPGA, ASIC Design, and advanced Packaging, collaborating with engineering, product, and leadership teams.

Qualifications

• BSEE/MSEE or equivalent.
• 3+ years in Design Automation, FPGA, or ASIC Design.
• 5+ years in the Semiconductor industry; advanced degrees offset experience.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Mil-Aero and/or Industrial customers is a plus.
• Experience with analog, digital, and mixed-signal design fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Close business by providing technical sales support during various stages of the sales cycle.
• Contribute to the development of the overall ASIC architecture.
• Develop long-term relationships with clients by managing and interpreting their requirements.
• Develop technical and cost proposals.
• Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs.
• Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects.
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
• Responsible for presales technical engagements.
• Understand technical requirements and forecast realistic customer needs.
• Search for new clients and grow business with existing customers.
• Support business case development.
• Support marketing activities by attending trade shows and conferences.
• Support IC Design, Test, and Product teams during development.
