Job summary

Chelsea Search Group is seeking a Technical Business Development Manager for Design Automation, FPGA, ASIC Design and Packaging in Minneapolis, MN. You will bridge engineering expertise with business development to bring advanced semiconductor solutions to market.

Ideal candidate has 3+ years in Design Automation, FPGA or ASIC, 5+ years in semiconductors, and strong communication skills to interact with Mil-Aero, Industrial, and Medical customers. Occasional travel up to 30% is required.

Qualifications

• BSEE/MSEE or equivalent engineering degree.
• 3+ years in Design Automation, FPGA, or ASIC Design.
• 5+ years in the Semiconductor industry; advanced degrees offset years.
• Strong English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Mil-Aero/Industrial customers a plus.
• Strong technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Close business by providing technical sales support during various stages of the sales cycle.
• Develop long-term relationships with clients and interpret their requirements.
• Develop technical and cost proposals.
• Make technical presentations showing product fit to client needs.
• Travel up to 30% and coordinate sales projects.
• Support marketing activities including trade shows and conferences.
