Job summary

Chelsea Search Group seeks a Technical Business Development Manager in Austin, TX to drive growth in custom and standard semiconductor products. You will bridge engineering depth with business development, engaging Mil-Aero, Industrial, and Medical customers to understand technical challenges and propose solutions in Design Automation, FPGA, ASIC Design, and advanced Packaging.

You will work with engineering teams to define approaches, develop resource estimates, and contribute to process

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Design Automation, FPGA, or ASIC Design.
• 5+ years in the Semiconductor industry; advanced degrees will be considered with fewer years.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Mil-Aero and/or Industrial customers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Close business by providing technical sales support throughout the sales cycle.
• Develop long-term relationships by interpreting client requirements.
• Create technical and cost proposals for opportunities.
• Deliver technical presentations showing product applicability to client needs.
• Meet sales targets and coordinate multiple sales projects.
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
• Support marketing activities by attending trade shows and events.
• Collaborate with IC Design, Test, and Product teams; travel up to 30%.
