Job summary

Chelsea Search Group is seeking a Technical Business Development Manager to bridge engineering and sales in ASIC and semiconductor markets. You will engage Mil-Aero, Industrial, and Medical customers, translate complex tech into business opportunities, and help define technical approaches and resource estimates.

The ideal candidate combines engineering insight with aggressive business development, capable of traveling up to 30% and driving high-value engagements from discovery through close.

Qualifications

• BSEE/MSEE or equivalent.
• 3+ years in Design Automation, FPGA, or ASIC Design.
• 5+ years in the Semiconductor industry; advanced degrees possible with fewer years.
• Strong English oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with Mil-Aero and Industrial customers is a plus.
• Understanding of analog, digital, and mixed-signal design fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Close business by providing technical sales support across the sales cycle.
• Contribute to development of overall ASIC architecture.
• Build long-term relationships by interpreting client requirements.
• Develop technical and cost proposals for opportunities.
• Deliver technical presentations showing product fit to client needs.
• Meet sales targets and coordinate multiple projects.
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
• Travel up to 30% to engage with customers.
