Job summary

MEI USA is seeking a Technical Backoffice Specialist to join our North America team. You will support the customer service department with quote processing and technician preparation, reporting to the Technical Backoffice Supervisor.

Responsibilities include trip debriefs, part number verification for remote support and aftersales, handling special customer projects, processing quotes, and attending technical meetings.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of manufacturing/technical terminology.
• Electrical and mechanical knowledge required.
• Basic knowledge of modern CNC machinery and components.
• Familiarity with Windows-based computers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Dynamics or a similar CRM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and debrief technicians' business trips (installations, PM, and visits).
• Verify part numbers for remote support and aftersales.
• Handle special customer projects.
• Process part quotes and orders.
• Attend customer meetings for technical questions.
• Occasionally travel for training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
