Job summary

MEI USA is seeking a highly motivated Technical Backoffice Specialist to support our customer service team across North America. You will assist with quote processing, technician preparation, and reporting to the Technical Backoffice Supervisor.

Responsibilities include coordinating technician trips, processing reports, verifying part numbers, and engaging in special projects. Some travel for training may be required; we offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing/technical terminology knowledge.
• Electrical and mechanical knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of modern CNC machinery and components.
• Familiarity with Windows-based computers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Dynamics or similar CRM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and debrief of technicians’ business trips (installation, PM, and technical visits).
• Technician report processing.
• Part number verification for remote support and aftersales.
• Handling special customer projects.
• Preparing and processing quotes.
• Participating in customer meetings for technical questions.
• Possibility of limited travel for training.
• Other duties as assigned.
