Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or relevant experience acceptable in lieu of diploma.
• At least 1 year construction inspection experience on major roadway/bridge projects preferred.
• PennDOT/Pennsylvania Turnpike experience preferred; willingness to complete PennDOT TCI training.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings to prepare for inspection.
• Inspect and document construction activities on transportation projects.
• Conduct field measurements for pay item documentation.
• Inspect work site for proper traffic control setup.
• Inspect erosion control devices and ensure permit compliance.
• Monitor and record materials certifications per client procedures.
