Job summary

Stantec is seeking Transportation Construction Inspector (TCI) roles across Pennsylvania. You will oversee projects involving roadways, structures, interchanges, and toll plazas, providing expert consulting from design to construction.

The role requires reviewing plans, taking field measurements, and ensuring traffic control and erosion devices meet permit requirements. Qualified candidates have a High School diploma or relevant experience with at least one year of roadway/bridge inspection, and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or relevant experience.
• Minimum of one year construction inspection experience on major roadway and/or bridge inspection projects.
• PennDOT and/or Pennsylvania Turnpike experience preferred.
• Must have a minimum of one of the following: NICET Level 2+; NECEPT Asphalt; PennDOT NECEPT Concrete certification.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings to prepare for the inspection.
• Conduct field measurements to establish quantities for pay item documentation.
• Inspect work site for proper traffic control setup.
• Inspect erosion control devices and ensure compliance with permits.
• Monitor and record materials certifications in accordance with client procedures.
