Job summary

Stantec is seeking Transportation Construction Inspectors (TCI) to support projects across Pennsylvania. The role involves reviewing drawings, performing field measurements for pay items, and inspecting sites for traffic control and erosion controls while ensuring compliance with permits.

Opportunities span roadway and bridge inspections with design-to-construction consulting. Ideal candidates have PennDOT/Turnpike experience or NICET/NECEPT certifications and at least one year of inspection

Qualifications

High School diploma or relevant experience may substitute.
Minimum of one year construction inspection experience on major roadway and/or bridge inspection projects.
PennDOT and/or Pennsylvania Turnpike experience.
Current NICET Level 2 or higher, NECEPT Asphalt, or PennDOT NECEPT Concrete certification.

Responsibilities

Review drawings to prepare for the inspection.
Conduct field measurements to establish quantities for pay item documentation.
Inspect work site for proper traffic control setup.
Inspect erosion control devices, ensure they are maintained and compliant with permits.
Monitor and record materials certifications in accordance with the client’s procedures.
