Job summary

Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Technology Trainer with 1–3 years of experience to support our attorneys and staff. You will plan, prepare and deliver training on the Firm’s technology, using phone, web conferencing and in-person sessions.

You will develop training materials, assist with new software rollouts, and work with IT and the Training Manager to improve processes. Travel to Taft offices for on-site training and create modules with eLearning tools.

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of computer science or curriculum development, typically via degree or equivalent
• 1–3 years as a software trainer, preferably in a law firm
• Advanced MS Office experience required
• Knowledge of legal software strongly preferred
• Experience producing legal documents in a legal support role

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains knowledge of the Firm's core software applications and systems
• Prepares outlines, handouts, and presentations related to Firm software
• Delivers training via phone, web conferencing and in-person with professional delivery
• Assists Training Manager and IT with planning and rollout of new software
• Identifies process improvements through effective use of firm systems
• Serves as advanced support for local IT help desk on complex software problems
• Travels to Taft offices to deliver on-site training
• Uses eLearning tools to create training modules for attorneys and staff
