Job summary

Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP in the United States is seeking a Technology Trainer with 1–3 years’ experience to support our offices. The role plans, prepares and delivers training on the Firm’s technology to attorneys and staff, using phone, web conferencing and in-person sessions.

You will develop materials, assist with new software rollout, identify efficiency opportunities, and serve as an advanced support contact for IT.

Qualifications

Technical knowledge of computer science and/or curriculum development through degree or equivalent experience.
1–3 years as a software trainer, preferably in a law firm.
Advanced MS Office experience; knowledge of legal software is preferred.

Responsibilities

Develops and maintains knowledge of firm software applications and systems.
Prepares outlines, handouts, and presentations using Taft branded media.
Delivers training via phone, web conferencing and in-person sessions.
Assists Training Manager and IT with planning and rollout of new software.
Works with attorneys and staff to identify efficiencies and process improvements.
Serves as advanced support for IT help desk on complex software questions.
Travels to Taft office locations to deliver on-site training; creates eLearning modules.
