Job summary

Elmcor Youth & Adult Activities is seeking a proactive Job Recruiter to drive talent acquisition across the organization. You will partner with leadership to define role requirements, craft compelling job descriptions, and manage the full-cycle interview process to ensure fair, structured hiring aligned with our values.

The role includes posting openings, evaluating candidates, coordinating interviews, and supporting onboarding while ensuring compliance with EEO and related laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least two years of human resources experience.
• Proven experience as a Recruiter or similar role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Screen incoming resumes and distribute them to the leadership team.
• Conduct initial screenings to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
• Draft compelling and accurate job descriptions for open positions.
• Post job openings on relevant job boards, company careers page, and social media platforms.
• Develop and implement effective recruitment advertising strategies.
• Coordinate with HR for a smooth onboarding process.
• Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, source of hire, and candidate conversion rates.
• Follow up with leadership after interviews to determine placements.
