Job summary

The Breakers is seeking a Support Specialist for Technology Services to provide technical assistance and support for computer systems, hardware and software to our users. This role requires high attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities include receiving and prioritizing service requests, troubleshooting basic issues, configuring and deploying hardware, and supporting daily operations like POS end-of-day reports.

Qualifications

• Familiar with computer hardware and software.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and independently.
• Experience with a help desk ticketing system is a plus.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Receive, manage, and prioritize service requests via phone and email
• Troubleshoot and solve basic technical issues
• Configure, image, and deploy hardware according to departmental standards
• Perform basic phone system troubleshooting including wiring and user setup
• Successfully complete daily operations such as credit card processing and point of sale end of day reports
• Gather and analyze information to resolve technical issues
