Job summary

The City of Lincoln is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to deliver first- and second-level technical support across local and remote environments. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and enterprise apps, document incidents in the IT ticketing system, and escalate issues to maintain SLAs.

Responsibilities include OS and Office 365 support, basic macOS assistance, device maintenance, and coordinating with third-party vendors for AV issues. Strong communication and SLA focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering desktop support in Windows environments (Windows 10/11).
• Familiar with Active Directory, GPOs, and Office 365 administration.
• Proven ability to document incidents and service requests in an ITSM system.
• Strong communication and time-management to meet SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level support for hardware, software, and apps.
• Log and track incidents in the IT ticketing system and communicate status.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS and Office 365.
• Support macOS basics and enterprise applications as needed.
• Assist with printers, devices, and peripheral equipment maintenance.
• Coordinate with vendors for complex AV issues and security tasks.
