Job summary

Micro Center is seeking a self-motivated, results-oriented Service Experience Advisor to be the primary customer contact at the Knowledge Bar. You will provide consultative support, identify customer needs, and recommend service solutions while handling check-ins, basic troubleshooting, and POS transactions.

Role requires standing for shift, ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally, and a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong preference for candidates with customer-facing commissioned sales, hospitality, and/or retail experience.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport, earn trust, and explain services clearly and professionally.
• Flexible availabilityincluding early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the trusted point of contact for walk-in or scheduled customers at the Knowledge Bar.
• Listen actively to customer concerns and guide them to appropriate service solutions.
• Recommend value-added services in a consultative manner.
• Clearly communicate pricing, timelines, and expectations at check-in.
• Assist in basic troubleshooting and route work orders to service queues.
• Process service and POS transactions accurately.
• Maintain attachment rates and productivity standards.
• Stay informed of current promotions and attachment opportunities.
• Provide timely updates to customers regarding service status.
